A BIM Education Bundle for AEC Professionals

If you’re an architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) professional looking to learn about building information modeling (BIM), there is no shortage of resources.

Various companies will offer online tutorials to go with software purchases and in some cases even offer comprehensive texts on the subject. Third-party partners tend to offer more in-depth lessons and explanations.

One such partner, U.S. CAD, covers a wide range of BIM software, including Autodesk, Leica Geosystems, Twinmotion and Bluebeam. The company has recently released new bundles for those looking to learn about Autodesk BIM software.

Bundles for Revit, Civil 3D and More

There are two bundles currently available for BIM education.

The first, the “Performance Bundle,” comes with a price tag of USD$495 and includes:

  • A full year’s access to CAD Learning for Revit or Civil 3D
  • A one-year license for U.S. CAD Tools for Revit or Civil 3D, which is the company’s set of add-in tools for Autodesk software
  • Registration for the user’s choice of one of five available BIM Workshops events in 2016

The “Performance Plus Bundle” is slightly more expensive at USD$595 and includes:

  • A full year’s access to CAD Learning “All Access” Autodesk library and its courses for AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, 3ds Max, Autodesk 360 and more
  • A one-year license for U.S. CAD Tools for Revit or Civil 3D
  • Registration for the user’s choice of one of five available BIM Workshops events in 2016

“Many software users working in the AEC industry juggle their day-to-day project responsibilities with a desire for professional development and education,” said Jeff Rachel, vice president of U.S. CAD. “The U.S. CAD Performance Bundle addresses these concerns by enhancing the user’s productivity with tools and training opportunities.”

“The user can immediately leverage the easy-to-use U.S. CAD Tools in their project workflow and access CAD Learning’s extensive library throughout the year to find quick answers and tutorials,” Rachel continued. “With a BIM Workshops registration, the user gets an opportunity to network with industry peers and attend intermediate- to advanced-level courses to expand technical capabilities.”
