Arena Releases New Training Module, Summer 2016

Arena Solutions has announced the release of Arena Summer 2016, complete with a new quality management system (QMS) training module that’s built with engineers and manufacturers in mind.

Whether you’re an engineer working on medical devices or a designer building a next-generation jet, solid QMS protocols are critical to delivering products on time. With design cycle windows being shortened every year, it’s becoming more important for companies to ensure that they comply with the standards that government regulators monitor.

But how do you maintain high-quality QMS protocols when the design landscape is beginning to resemble a warp-speed star field and new regulations continue to be added to the books?

According to Arena, it all boils down to creating an easy-to-use, high-quality training regimen that can be managed efficiently and distributed to everyone involved in the project’s product lifecycle management. To that end, Arena has built a new training module named “Arena Training Management for Arena QMS” into its summer 2016 release. With Area Training Management for Arena QMS, training managers will be able to deploy an efficient system to oversee employee training and keep current with federal regulation. The upshot of this new process is, of course, the reduction of audit failures that can cause a business to receive letters of warning from regulators or even the shuttering of a business for good.

“Both training and a defined QMS are important to any company that must ensure its teams have the ability to develop and manufacture the highest quality products,” said Steve Chalgren, executive vice president of product management and chief strategy officer. “Arena Training Management is a reflection of our continued investment in Arena’s quality management capability.”
