Kisters North America has updated its 3DViewStation WebViewer, a 3D CAD viewer built for engineers and designers.
“The goal of the 2017 release was to ensure that even ultralarge assemblies can be rendered fluently on mobile devices as well as PCs using browsers. Kisters 3DViewStation WebViewer proves that this is possible,” said Jim Eardly of Kisters North America. “Graphics speed on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet PCs are now as good as on a desktop PC, or even better.”
Beyond its ability to translate a near universal scope of CAD file formats, the 3DViewStation WebViewer also comes equipped with a materials library, static background images and a Skybox to lend models greater realism. These tools give 3DViewStation WebViewer even greater application across an engineering firm, extending the software’s relevance to marketing.
Finally, Kisters’ team has also made sure to note that its newest release has an improved user interface that borrows many of its design cues from the Microsoft Office suite. With this new interface, users shouldn’t have to fumble around looking for tools and can jump right into using the viewer with little, if any, trouble.
