Intergraph Process, Power & Marine Releases CADWorx Plant 2017

Intergraph CADWorx has announced the release of CADWorx Plant 2017, and with it a host of new options for working with one of the process, power and marine (PPM) industry’s leading tools.

In this new release, all of CADWorx Plant tools have been ported to work within Autodesk’s AutoCAD software, allowing greater flexibility and collaboration when it comes to developing complex PPM projects.

In addition to its ability to work within the AutoCAD environment, CADWorx Plant 2017 can also be used with BricsCAD, providing even greater flexibility to where the software can be deployed.

Where the implementation of CADWorx Plant 2017 into AutoCAD and BricsCAD is concerned, the latter can also handle GT STRUDL CAD modeler, making it possible to create structural models for both analysis and design purposes.

“Clients have requested other design platform options, and we are ready to deliver. Our valued customers now have the ability to run the latest release of CADWorx on their choice of BricsCAD or AutoCAD platforms,” said Rick Allen, president of Intergraph CADWorx.

Beyond its latest CAD Worx Plant 2017 release, Intergraph CADWorx also offers the CADWorx Plant Design Suite, which gives users the ability to create DWG-based plant design models, process schematics and the automatic production of plant design deliverables.
