Leading that GPU performance, the Xi PowerGo 15/7 is driven by either an Intel i7-7700HQ 3.8GHz TB or i7-7920HQ 4.1GHz TB processor. To round out its performance characteristics, the new mobile workstation can be outfitted with up to 32GB of DDR4 2400Mhz RAM.
Finally, Xi’s newest configuration comes with the latest NVMe SSD storage, making booting and loading applications lightning fast.

Although I have my biases about mobile workstations (Ironically, I find the mobility of a laptop a bit cumbersome because I feel cramped by their compactness and I’ve never been satisfied with a trackpad for CAD work), they seem to be proliferating across the CAD community. If a mobile workstation is right for you, Xi’s latest release looks to have all of the power required to be a long-term workhorse for any designer.
