Digital business consultancy Janeiro Digital has partnered with PTC to develop Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions. The collaboration will see an integration of PTC’s ThingWorx IIoT platform with Janeiro Digital’s custom platform, XFORM. Ultimately, Janeiro Digital hopes the integration will enable more organizations to board the quickly accelerating IIoT train.
XFORM is Janeiro Digital’s platform for launching new enterprise solutions and connecting them to existing assets. The platform is composed of two primary components: Foundation, which handles the customized enterprise IoT solutions, and Bridge, which provides the integration between Foundation and existing enterprise systems.
According to Janeiro Digital, XFORM’s strengths lie in its modular, scalable architecture, which allows for rapid development of custom solutions and hassle-free integration with existing applications. By developing custom integrations with ThingWorx, Janeiro Digital claims its customers can more quickly and efficiently develop IIoT products and solutions for their organizations—without breaking existing systems.
