Industrial Robot Pours the Perfect Pint

Automation is a serious business, but some of the most fascinating robotics applications are frivolous, like serving coffee, sorting M&M’s, flipping burgers and now, pouring beer. This latest and arguably greatest example comes from an ENGINEERING.com contributor, who found the above video of an industrial robot putting even the best bartenders to shame.

However, as amusing as this is, we still have several questions with no apparent answers: Where was this video taken? What’s the make and model of the robot? How was it programmed? Most important of all, what brand of beer is it pouring?
