VIDEO: Tomahawk Cruise Missile’s Target-Seeking Capabilities Upgraded

Raytheon’s Tomahawk cruise missile has been a favorite of the DoD since the 1970s, and the aerospace and defense contractor is rolling out another upgrade to the block IV missile. Tomahawk can already fly 1000 miles at up to 550 mph and circle in a holding pattern for hours. Soon, it will also be able to track moving targets at sea.

At the Tucson facility where they are made, FANUC robots enable faster, cheaper production processes. That’s how the Tomahawk stays at the top.
