CL3VER, a plug-in for turning 3D models into interactive presentations, has received a refresh that introduces simplified one-click use and a host of other new features. The presentation tool for architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) promises to enable users of any technical level to create and share presentations quickly from even the most complex 3D models.

CL3VER is currently available as a plug-in for Autodesk Revit and 3ds Max users, and it is available in a beta version for users of SketchUp and Rhino.

With one click, CL3VER users can bring their projects into a real-time 3D environment with free navigation, automatic camera transitions, instant lighting adjustment, support for building information modelling (BIM) and more. Additionally, users can upload their 3D scenes into a cloud-based workspace that enables real-time feedback and collaboration through annotations, comments and bookmarks.

In addition to the support for one-click presentations, other new CL3VER features include:

  • Virtual Reality (VR) output: CL3VER presentations can be accessed in VR, allowing you to, for example, go inside a building before it’s even built. Presentations can also be accessed in the cloud or offline.
  • Real-time rendering: Photorealistic scenes can be created with CL3VER’s new real-time render engine that supports dynamic daylight, real-time reflections and more.
  • Private web sharing: Projects can be shared with a web link that gives full access to the presentation and associated comments.
  • Post-processing tools: Users can quickly make adjustments with onboard controls for backgrounds, light intensity, resolution and more.
  • V-Ray support: CL3VER is fully compatible with V-Ray scene setups so that V-Ray materials can be transferred without any extra pre-processing.

“Our customers wanted the whole process simplified—no extra effort, just an easy road to high-quality presentations,” said CL3VER founder and CEO Daniel Iborra. “Today, we are giving them exactly what they asked for, with instant updates and some of the best visuals around.”
