In mold and die, very large, heavy blocks of aluminum and
steel need to be milled. With so much bulk, it makes sense to do as much as
possible in one operation. The solution is a deep hole drilling machine, which
can drill up to 83 inches, as well as tapping, chamfering, spot facing,
counterboring, slot cutting and compound thread milling. With the right cutter,
this mill can even face off a block or rough out sections.
