AMETEK Electron Probe Microanalyzer
AMETEK has launched the SXFive-TACTIS, a microanalytical instrument, and the only Electron Probe Microanalyzer (EPMA) with a touch-screen interface. The SXFive-TACTIS features an additional backscattered electron detector for enhanced imaging especially at low voltage, an integrated energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) hyper-mapping module for rapid quantitative analysis and the capability to acquire real-time wavelength dispersive spectroscopy and EDS X-ray images.
The instrument can be remote controlled, allowing users to run experiments from their smart phones, tablets or any remote computer.

Circutor Portable Power Analyzer Certificate
Circutor’s MYeBOX Class A power quality analyzers have received a calibration certificate issued by the CIRCE Foundation in accordance with IEC 61000-4-30 Class A, validating the accuracy of the analyzers. The CIRCE Foundation has ENAC accreditation to perform calibrations on DC electricity and low frequency both in the field and in the laboratory.
MYeBOX is a range of portable analyzers that can be configured from an app that analyzes the accessible electrical parameters remotely. The device measures and records the electrical parameters in single, two or three-phase installations (with and without neutral).

Hioki AC/DC Clamp Meters
Hioki has announced its AC/DC Clamp Meter CM4375 and CM4376. The meters can be utilized during regular maintenance and management to keep electrical equipment operating properly in buildings and manufacturing plants.
Features of the CM4375 and CM4376 include: thinner jaws that fit easily between cables in confined spaces, a current rating of 1000 A AC/DC, an operating temperature range of -25°C to 65°C and Bluetooth wireless technology for displaying measured values on a smartphone (CM4376).

Keysight Probe Head for Oscilloscopes
Keysight Technologies has unveiled the MX0100A InfiniiMax micro probe head, a small solder-in probe head for oscilloscopes optimized for modern high-speed devices. The InfiniiMax micro probe head is intended for use with the company’s InfiniiMax I/II probe amplifiers and is designed to access small geometry target devices.
The lead wires can be adjusted to accommodate targets from 0 mm to 7 mm apart. When used in conjunction with Keysight’s 1169B 12 GHz InfiniiMax II probe amplifier, the MX0100A provides up to 12 GHz bandwidth. The MX0100A minimizes the probe loading effect and maximizes signal integrity when measuring high-speed signals.

Tektronix SPMI Protocol for Mobile Device Debug
Tektronix has introduced protocol decode, triggering and analysis support for the MIPI Alliance’s System Power Management Interface (SPMI) for its 5 and 6 Series MSO mixed signal oscilloscopes. The software option takes advantage of the capabilities of these oscilloscopes including the productivity of a touch-based setup, a 15.6 inch HD display for showing multiple buses and low-noise power rail voltages.
SPMI is used to connect processors in mobile devices to one or more power controllers and enables processors to dynamically increase or decrease power to specific subsystems for reduced power consumption. With Tektronix’s SPMI decode option, users can decode bus activity, saving time and reducing frustration compared to attempting to decode bus activity manually.
