AutomationDirect has added Trumeter graphical panel meters to its line of electrical power devices. These meters measure voltage, current or frequency and provide analog meter-style visual and accurate numeric readings.

User-selectable measurement options include 0-600 AC or DC voltage, current at 0-5A direct or 0-9,999A via transducer and frequency from 2 to 400Hz. The panel meter provides two independent alarm outputs and two fully scaled analog monitor outputs.

New Kinpo Group (NKG) has announced an industry 4.0 portfolio expansion, named New Era AI Robotics, which is designed to extend its combined additive manufacturing and robotics presence in North America. In connection with this announcement, the company plans to debut several AI-powered factories and service robotics.

One such example of service robotics is the Smart Delivery Robot M01. The robot is equipped with autonomous navigation and is able to perform indoor SLAM based on LiDAR, without the need for guided magnetic strips or UWB (Ultra-Wideband) in situ installation.

OnRobot has revealed the Quick Changer, a tool changer for collaborative applications. Weighing 200g, the Quick Changer has a low impact on robot payload. Its compact size also adds minimal distance from the tool center point (TCP) to the robot, which minimizes stress on robot joints.

The Quick Changer releases end-of-arm tools with just a click, and inserted tools are automatically positioned correctly with a repeatability of ±0.02mm. The Quick Changer can be used on any robot arm, drone or other equipment with an ISO-9409-1 flange.
