Tenna, a construction technology company, unveiled its latest cellular global positioning system (GPS) tracking product, TennaGO, at the 2019 World of Concrete.

TennaGO was designed to observe and manage yellow-iron construction assets. It aims to aid in tracking high-value, heavy-power source equipment and machines. Data generated by the system can be saved to the company’s cloud storage, allowing contractors to monitor assets from anywhere through Tenna’s mobile Web interface.

The system offers various tracking options that the company says can compete against other similar technology on the market. TennaGO was designed to be flexible, user-friendly and long-lasting for extensive equipment tracking and management. It involves a simple installment process, as well as two modes of battery usage. It is available in both rechargeable plug-in and long-life battery models.

This is the company’s second time participating in the World of Concrete. CEO and founder Austin Cotti stressed how significant the new product is in propelling the construction industry through technological innovation.

“We are excited to showcase how our hardware and software to meet the growing needs of contractors who are embracing tracking technology to achieve their business goals,” he said. “The future is bright for the construction industry, and we will continue to develop products and solutions that address the challenges faced in the field.”

The TennaGO aims to help companies reduce costs, increase efficiency and encourage a data-centric approach to improve equipment management processes.

Tenna has been involved in construction, landscaping, oil and gas, and industrial businesses. Its range of products offer cloud-based solutions for physical asset management. Its portfolio includes industrial management solutions for industrial asset tracking and inventory control.
