Bourns has released its 0.15 to 1.0 PSI BPS110/BPS120 pressure sensors. The sensors are based on Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) technology, which provides accurate condition readings in a miniature package size. Designed to deliver increased performance in applications where precision is essential, the BPS110/BPS120 sensors offer calibrated and compensated output for more efficient processes as well as long-term stability for reliable repeatability.

Brose Door and Interior Sensor Technology

Brose and Vayyar have collaborated on sensor technology for automotive door and interior functions. Brose door systems, equipped with Vayyar’s sensors, provide protection of vehicle doors without compromising design, and at a minimal footprint in a single location.

Accurate interior monitoring in 3D adds functions such as anti-theft protection, gesture control and recognition of vital signs, like breathing rates. Additionally, the precise sensing of occupancy and the position of seats makes it possible to eliminate previously required components.

First Sensor has developed a camera system for electronic manufacturing and smart home applications. Equipped with a selection of digital interfaces, the cameras from the “Blue Next” generation can be easily integrated into networked systems and are suitable for a variety of applications. As an important element in partially and fully autonomous driving, they keep an eye on a vehicle’s surroundings in combination with LiDAR systems and radar sensors, and contribute to increased safety.

Future Electronics has launched the BMX160 sensor by Bosch. The BMX160 is a small, low-power, low-noise absolute orientation sensor designed for use in wearable devices like smart watches or augmented reality glasses. It combines a 3-axis accelerometer, gyroscope and geomagnetic sensor into a single package.

Standex-Meder SMD Sensors

Standex-Meder will showcase its lineup of SMD sensors and relays at this year’s Electronica China. The line of SMD sensors includes the MK24 miniature reed sensor, and liquid level sensors and floats.  Planar transformers and inductors specializing in low profile, volumetric efficiency and low leakage inductance will also be on display. These planars are suitable for a multitude of applications associated with fast charging for onboard chargers, DC-DC converters, battery management systems (BMS) and high-power supply systems.
