AMETEK launched its 700-3201 series of 3A certified Capacitance/RF Admittance probes designed for mid-level to premium point level measurement devices within sanitary applications that require 3A approval.

The 700-3201 series includes increased system capabilities, as they are compatible in most existing Point Level System product lines, including the Z-Tron IV, Point and IntelliPoint series. The series comes in standard Tri-clamp fitting sizes, including 1-1/2in, 2in, 2-1/2in, 3in and 4in.

B&K Precision introduced its 8500B series of programmable DC loads. For system integrators, the 8500B series provides backward compatibility with the legacy 8500 series protocol, as well as support of industry-standard SCPI commands. Equipped for various benchtop and production line applications, the series is suitable for testing DC-DC converters, batteries, battery chargers and photovoltaic arrays.

Hioki Electrode Resistance Measurement System

Hioki developed the RM2610 electrode resistance measurement system. It isolates and quantifies the resistance characteristics of electrode sheets, a major component of lithium-ion batteries (LIBs), as two components: the composite layer resistance and interface resistance between the composite layer and collector.

The system allows users to visualize these two quantities by measuring the surface of the electrode sheet with a test fixture that consists of an array of test probes and uses analytical techniques to quantify them.

Pico unveiled the PicoScope 4823, an eight-channel oscilloscope for the automotive industry. The PicoScope 4823 is designed for diagnostics, training or vehicle design. The eight channels allow multiple sensors, actuators and CAN/CAN FD signals to be monitored at the same time up to 80MS/s. It is ready-configured for automotive probes and includes more than 150 Guided tests, plus access to thousands of comparisons in the Pico waveform library.

Tektronix announced the expansion of its scalable DPO70000SX series Performance Oscilloscope to include 13 GHz and 16 GHz models. The DPO70000SX oscilloscopes were initially developed to test high-speed serial and optical interface standards.

With this platform extension, the company is bringing these capabilities to lower speed interfaces such as USB, Display Port, HDMI, LPDDR, MIPI C-PHY and D-PHY, plus legacy server storage applications such as PCI Express Gen 3 and SATA that are used in consumer, automotive and military/aerospace applications.
