New Integration and Connector Tools for SAP and 3DEXPERIENCE Users

This week the virtual twin company TECHNIA released an SAP Connector for the cloud-based 3DEXPERIENCE platform from Dassault Systèmes. With this connector, users in both systems will have access to the same pool of data without the need to manually transfer data. This reduces human error and ensures communication between the tools in real-time.

The connector is available on the TECHNIA Integration Framework cloud (TIF Cloud) product, which is an integration-platform-as-a-service (IPaaS) solution. This means that it can connect various engineering and enterprise systems together such as PLM, ERP, MES and CRM.

“This is a milestone for TECHNIA Software & Global Services,” said Magnus Falkman, chief executive officer at TECHNIA. “We can now provide our customers with the best 3DEXPERIENCE and SAP integration tool on the market, with the assurance that it is authorized by Dassault Systèmes.”

The new connector offers a pre-configured integration for the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and SAP. It is hosted on the cloud and is officially licensed. The linkages between the software tools include common PLM and ERP integrations, but can be extended and customized by adding configurations over top.

“We are thrilled to introduce our new Cloud software that enables seamless integration between 3DEXPERIENCE Cloud and SAP,” said Philippe Rinero, product manager at TECHNIA. “By addressing the new challenge of integrating these two powerful platforms, we are empowering organizations to unlock new levels of efficiency, collaboration and innovation. We are confident that this solution will deliver significant value to our customers.”

A lot of the recent SAP PLM-ERP news has been focused on the company’s partnership and integrations with Siemens Teamcenter. This partnership goes as far as SAP offering Siemens tools to its customers. But not all SAP users have gone with Siemens since that partnership started in 2020. As a result, TECHNIA is looking to capitalize on the 3DEXPERIENCE users left in its wake—and this seems like a solid plan for those using Dassault Systèmes and SAP technologies.
