Machine tending, especially in CNC machining operations is a common use for robots deployed in manufacturing cells. It’s a complex problem, with equipment from different manufacturers that must operate seamlessly across platforms. This has traditionally been a coding challenge for system integrators, must balance between robot performance and ease of use in often high volume, low margin part making.
