3D Systems Corporation announced its new ProJet 1000 personal 3D printer. Priced at $10,900, this printer makes high-resolution, durable plastic parts accessible and affordable to educators, students and professionals alike.
Buddy Byrum, senior director, 3D printing for 3D Systems said, “The ProJet 1000 is a game changing 3D printer designed specifically for cost-conscious designers that need true-to-design functional test products.”
According to the company’s website, the ProJet 1000 measures 22 x 26 x 29 inches and weighs 122 pounds. With 0.004-inch layers, it can build parts at ½-inch per hour. The build envelope measures 6.8 x 8.0 x 7.0 inhces.
The ProJet 1000 printer will be on display at EuroMold in Hall 11, Booth F110 and can be purchased through 3D Systems’ global network of authorized resellers.
