Day 2’s keynote address will be presented by Phill Dickens, professor of manufacturing technology at Loughborough University. Entitled “Developments of Additive Manufacturing and Its Future,” Phill will explore the origins of additive manufacturing, looking back at the predictions that have been made over the last 20 years and assessing how accurate they were. Taking it to the next level, Phill will also update these predictions for the next 10 years while taking a look at some of the most pertinent issues that the industry faces, such as Intellectual Property and materials development.
