After getting on the subject of Moore's Law earlier today, this is an interesting video where Adam Savage of The Mythbusters shows off some of his collection of ancient computer technology. As Savage says at the end, please don't pay close attention to the details. Good on-screen personalities can overcome the odd error in the technical details, so let's forgive these guys in advance.

There's really no substitute for getting hands-on like this for understanding scale. Thankfully, there's not a single reference to modern technology in relation to the width of a human hair.
