CRP Technology Launches Carbon-filled Windform SP

Windform SP, a composite polyamide-based, carbon-filled material, is characterized by deep black color and superior mechanical properties — increased resistance to shocks, vibrations and deformations. The material is used in laser sintering processes.

According to the company, Windform SP is suitable for prototypes and is perfect for functional applications in motorsports, automotive (under-the-hood) and aerospace (unmanned aerial vehicles) since it supports fully functional testing (dynamometer and track) as well as pre-production parts.

CRP cites the following improvements: enhanced color, resistance to absorption of liquids, increased impact strength, increased elongation at break and elevated temperature resistance.

Windform SP is now available to those that operate laser sintering equipment. Through its services operations, the company also offers parts made of this new material. Additionally, CRP offers metallization and painting services when ordering Windform SP parts.
