Verdi Ogewell and his team from VerkstadsForum.se are interviewing the top CEOs to present the competing PLM visions from Autodesk, Dassault Systemes, SiemensPLM, and PTC. In this case Verdi catches up with the ever outspoken Autodesk CEO Carl Bass, at the recent AU 2012 event in Las Vegas.
This interview is worthy of note for a variety of reasons, but most of all for the frank nature of several questions posed. Most interviewers step lightly on sensitive topics in the interest of being polite. In this case Verdi Ogewell nudges Carl Bass, without being rude or pushy, in order to get to the heart of matters. Mr. Bass consistently handles it gracefully.
It certainly does a great job of extracting Autodesk’s vision of what PLM customers want, and how Autodesk delivers it.
I certainly look forward to seeing more from this series.
