A 1.79 percent scale model of a conceptual Boeing aircraft sits inside a wind tunnel at NASA’s Glenn Research Center. Researchers will test the prototype’s performance by shifting the direction that air streams over its body. The research is part of NASA’s on going research into more quiet supersonic flight.
