Pirate3D Giveaway

Singapore’s Pirate3D has announced that it is  giving away one of their Buccaneer model 3D Printers, but there’s a catch. In order to win, you’re going to have to guess the price of the printe and it’s full complement of materials.

Until this morning, I hadn’t seen the Buccaneer 3D printer, but after having taken a look at the machine, its exterior packaging look very sleek and well designed. While I haven’t been able to see the guts of the printer, based on some of sample prints that Pirate3D has released, I think the company is off to a good start. And in the coming years, their printer could be quite good… but for now, the printer would have to be categorized as competent.

Oh, and just in case you were wondering, I think a Buccaneer 3D Printer would retail for… Ahh, never mind, I’ve decided that I’ll keep my opinion to myself for once.
