Lockheed Martin has just announced that its F-35B fighter jet has completed its first successful vertical take-off and landing. A few weeks back the F-35B also showed off its night landing abilities. The jet which represents a core component of the US Marine Corps future aerial arsenal is set to be deployed around 2016.
