Free Circuit Analysis Right in Your Browser

Browsing the Chrome Web Store, I came across a fantastic engineering tool.  This Chrome app, which brings you to their main website when run from within Chrome after install, is a free tool to create and analyze electronic circuits.

From CircuitLab's website

"CircuitLab provides online, in-browser tools for schematic capture and circuit simulation. These tools allow students, hobbyists, and professional engineers to design and analyze analog and digital systems before ever building a prototype. Online schematic capture lets hobbyists easily share and discuss their designs, while online circuit simulation allows for quick design iteration and accelerated learning about electronics."

If you have ever used SPICE, or other electronic design tools, you should feel very comfortable with this application.  Playing with this app brought back so many good memories of PSpice during my undergraduate coursework.  Actually, I think this app is much better.  I am truly quite stunned at the amount of functionality and ease-of-use from a free browser-based tool.  I would expect to pay hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars for a design tool like this.  Check it out for yourself at CircuitLab.  Did I mention it's free?
