Vencer Supercar to Make UK Debut

For the past eight years the UKs premier boutique auto event has been the Salon Privé. Held on the stately grounds of the Syon Park manner, the show bills itself one of the premier events for collectors looking to snatch up some of the rarest, most collectible autos on the planet.

Given the ultra-elite status of Dutch auto maker Vencer’s Sarthe supercar, the Salon Privé seems like the perfect place to make the car’s UK debut. But what exactly makes the young Dutch automaker think its Sarthe belongs among such elite company?

This past April at an event in Monaco, Vencer showed the world why its Sarthe should be considered among the world’s elite driving machines.

Built around a 510HP V8 engine, the Sarthe is capable of reaching a top speed of 326km/h (203mph). With acceleration that will take its driver from 0-100km/h (62mph) in 3.8 seconds the Sarthe is every bit as fast as it looks.

The car’s exquisitely sculpted body is a blend of vintage styling coupled with state of the art materials. Inspired by classic cars like the Lamborghini Gallardo, the Ford GT40 and Chevy’s Corvette the Sarthe’s 1.9 (6.2ft) meter wide, 4.5m long (14.7ft) body is built to give the car stability and balance while travelling at lightning speed. Composed of a hybrid tubular steel chassis, a chrome-molybdenum safety cage and a honeycomb aluminum floor the Sarthe weighs in at a well-balanced 1390kg (3064lbs),

Add to these elements the fact that each Sarthe is a hand built machine, and it becomes crystal clear why the Vencer’s first entry into the auto world is already garnering such exclusive attention. Vencer has stated that the Sarthe will be produced in a limited series. Anyone interested in owning one of these boutique autos can get pricing and delivery information by contacting Vencer directly.
