Germany shoe manufacturer Addidas has just announced the release of their newest shoes, the Springblade.
Built like nothing that I’ve ever seen before the Springblade’s individually tuned blades are “engineered to help propel runners forward with one of the most effective energy returns in the industry.”
According to Addidas, the 16 blades made from a high-tech polymer instantaneously react to whatever surface you might be running on and will help propel you to faster lap and sprint times.
Those looking to get their hands on a pair of these strange, but cool, looking runners will have to wait until August 1. Addidas’ asking price: $180.
