As was promised earlier this year, Drayson Racing Technologies has claimed the electric vehicle (EV) land speed record. Over the course of two blistering runs Lord Drayson himself brought his EV Lola to an average speed of 204.185mph (328.6km/h).
While Drayson Racing Technologies’ name will forever be etched into the land speed record books, their record may not hold up for long. Nissan’s new EV racer will be challenging Drayson’s EV land speed record in the coming year.
