Have you ever wondered what the future of luxury air travel might look like? Well, Mac Byers has and his new concept, the Aether, brings to life a version of air travel that is reserved for sci-fi movies like The Fifth Element and Star Wars.
The Aether, which looks like a hybrid blimp / star fighter, is essentially a full service hotel in the sky. The apparently massive ship would be home to numerous staterooms, at least one restaurant and a bar all catering to the ships passengers as they slowly cruise above the clouds.
Regardless of its likely implausibility, Byers’ concept is sleek, and stunning. If I had the chance I’d certainty climb aboard his luxury hotel in the sky, wherever it might be headed.
