In what can only be described as the most accurate recreation of the T-1000 Terminator, Kawasaki Heavy Industries has created the world’s first stainless steel robotic arm.
While the robot isn’t made of liquid metal it does come equipped with 7 degrees of freedom which helps it with its primary occupation, working in the company’s pharmaceutical labs. To Kawasaki’s credit they’ve said that the creation of this stainless steel robot isn’t a first step towards robotic warriors, it’s just much easier to decontaminate a stainless steel robot using hydrogen peroxide gas.
