When you think of surfing, I doubt Pugeot is one of the first companies that comes to mind. But, never-the-less, the French company has debuted it’s one of a kind GTi Surfboard concept.
Constructed from a natural wood nose that leads into the carbon fiber body the board cuts a futuristic and elegant shape that’s likely to turn heads on any beach. To stabilize the board the GTi is equipped with two large back swept fins at the board’s rear which envelope a smaller pair that are inset more narrowly. According to Pugeot, the fins give the board a “responsive, exhilarating and agile ride quality.”
Pair this board with SAMS’ new anti-shark suit and I think we’re starting to see the awesome future of surfing.
