World, the wait is over. At the EAA AitVenture airshow in Wisconsin a flying car took flight. Named the Terrafugia Transition the new flying car will transform from car to plane in 30 seconds will soar at speeds of 115 miles per hour. While it may not be the fastest or most agile flying car we’ll ever see, it’s certainly a first step towards a future filled with airborne traffic jams.
For those in the market for a flying car the Transition will run you $300,000, pretty cheap when you considering what high performance cars are going for these days.
