Maybe it's my cynicism showing through. Or maybe it's the screenshots that look just like Geomagic (Alibre) Design. Either way, does it really matter? At $199 for a license of CAD software, isn't this exactly what was supposed to happen with Alibre Design and why 3D Systems started the Cubify (and Cube) market to begin with?
Rebranding, merging, and dissecting existing software into bites that fit market segments is an easy way to reach out to new customers while keeping development costs inline. Congratulations to 3D Systems for working this out. And congratulations for providing a more advanced modeling software to the maker community that compliments Cubify Invent and Cubify Sculpt.
