DesignSpark Mechanical User Design Challenge

Do you have unique idea for a mechanical design within the themes of accessibility, mobility, or green living and some time to realize your idea using the new and unique 3D modeling software, DesignSpark Mechanical?

Last month saw the introduction of the new 3D modeling software from RS/Allied Electronics, DesignSpark Mechanical, during a life-changing invention challenge at Manchester‘s Museum of Science and Industry including big name inventors and designers such as Trevor Baylis (OBE), Jude Pullen, and Tien Pham (Arduino).  Now the challenge (details of the challenge) is turning towards everyone else: Students, engineers, designers, and makers anyone who has a unique idea and the desire to learn something new using 3D modeling software.

The most popular idea as voted by the DesignSpark community gets £5,000 and the first ever Ormerod 3D printer from RepRapPro.   


There are two runner-up prizes of £2,500 each.  To bring your design to life and enter the challenge, upload your final design to DesignShare.
