Lamborghini’s Huracan 610-4

In a bid to update its successful Gallardo supercar, Lamborghini has given the World a sneak peak of its newest offering the Huracan 610-4.

Keeping with its tradition of naming its vehicles for famous bulls, the Huracan has been given the moniker of a creature that fought Spanish arenas in 1879. While the original Huracan has long since passed its new incarnation is set for a debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2014.

Sporting a 600+HP engine, the Huracan is purportedly capable of reaching top speeds in excess of 322km/h (200 mph), and jetting from 0-100km/h (0-62mph) in 3.2 seconds.

While the Huracan will borrow much from its legendary predecessor, the new car will feature state of the art improvements to both its interior and exterior. Most notable will be the Huracan’s stiffer aluminum and carbon fiber chassis.

Given that the Huracan is still months away from its official debut concrete details about the car’s performance and cost are hard to nail down. However, with the MSRP for a 2013 Laborghini Gallardo being pegged at $181,900 I can only imagine the Huracan will surpass that mark.
