Lagoa Expanding Presence with SpaceClaim Partnership

I first reported on Lagoa's cloud-based rendering during an article about their new relationship with world-dominating engineering workspace expert GrabCAD.

Lagoa has made another connection, this time bridging desktop to cloud, with its plugin for SpaceClaim.  The integration takes the burden off of local resources and moves the rendering to the Lagoa cloud, freeing up the workstation to continue with the design process.

Lagoa is constantly expanding its toolset, and making rendering ever more simple.  I know that as a non-artistic type, getting that photorealistic image for me is easier if I were to prototype the object and take a photo rather than try to render it in software.  But with presets and tech support, even a beginner like me stands a chance at making a stunning image.

One thing particularly intriguing about Lagoa is its web-based presence.  Combine that with its API, and digital marketplaces (e-commerce websites) can provide a more complete shopping experience, as noted by Lagoa's 3D Space Pro case study, by embedding 3D into the webpage.  Of course, downloading static images for print and marketing materials is also possible.
