Something you might be able to use.

You might have to cut and paste from this post but if you need some background information on how Plastics are tested in the many different ways take a look at this ADMET web site.  I downloaded some nice information here for our tech schools.  All free of course.

Remember the free download of DoubleCAD XT?  Well it is still free and apparently many have taken advantage of it including some school districts.  Now the IMSI/Design Company has put in some time for some add ins for their free give away.  These will cost you but remember the program was free and these add ins are top notch if you need them in your work.

Here is a good one.  It was just recently started and I stumbled across it during my research for something else.  Call it a semi social web site if you will, but their members donate native files of parts that are free to download.  Like a repository for different file formats that could save you time and effort from having to model them yourself.  This will grow dramatically I am sure.  Why not take a look.

Okay, lets say you are a plastics design engineer, mold maker, designer or for any other reason that the plastics industry interests you.  Maybe you design the machines.  No matter what the reason is here are some free video tutorials on this industry.  Andy Routsis would want me to let you know about this URL.  I don't know much about this industry myself, but I do know that our young people are getting familiar with this subject and you can get some free training and some more extensively paid for training if you desire.
