The resources provided include lesson plans, teacher/student guides, questions, tips, prompts, and journals. Also available are videos of STEM professionals discussing careers and the skills students will need to succeed.
STEMcoach.com also provides the ability to link educators into a STEM education community, STEMshare. This will allow teachers to share lessons, provide feedback, chat, share successes/failures, and nominate users for STEMchallenge contests.
The launch is designed to supplement STEMscopes, an online preK-12 curriculum for STEM instructors. With the help of Rice University, it was designed to improve student performance and engagement.
