Today, GE has announced it will be giving away 12- 3D Printed "Build Your Own Jet Engine Kits". For aviation and AM geeks like myself this is an awesome opportunity to piece together a working model of one of modern technology's marvels.
Given GE's commitment to Additive Manufacturing it comes as no surprise that they're willing to show the world how 3D printing can change the way we manufacture and interact with technology. I can't think of a better way to disseminate that message than with an educational toy. Oh, and that packaging is too cool too!
