Great Science Teacher Video Contest Winners

ENGINEERING.com and Dassault Systemes announced the winners of the Great Science Teacher Video Contest at the USA Science & Engineering Festival.

“ Science teachers today can make great use of multimedia to deliver complex concepts. The winners of this contest leveraged technology with clear lessons and lots of humor. These aren’ t your average science classes,” said John Hayes, President of ENGINEERING.com.

The contest drew entries from teachers of science and engineering across the country.  The judges were impressed by the use of experiments, demonstrations, cartoons, music and even old-fashioned chalk-boards to engage and inspire students.

"Dassault Systèmes is honored to sponsor the Science Teacher Video Contest at the US Science & Engineering Festival, said Marie Planchard, Director World Education Markets for Dassault Systemes SolidWorks Corp. “ Science, technology, and innovation are how the United States will further its education excellence and Dassault Systèmes, committed to using 3D, virtual immersive reality, and collaboration technology to enable world-class innovative science and engineering, is proud to be a part of today's Festival."
